Sad Songs Remind Me

This is my last goodbye.

I feel as though I should update this lonely blog more, though with happiness comes and extrovertedness that doesn't really lend itself well to the introspection needed in order to write a good blog.

It just doesn't.

If i'm ever going to get this solo acoustic thing off the ground, I need more material, and maybe I can start here:

3pm and the coffee has worn off
endorphin and ephedrine and tails of msn
with one leg up, and cocked back
leaning on the cabinet
staring out the window to the empty sidewalk below

voices stream inside from the hallway talking
above the din and ever seeming buzz of cooling fans
as I type I notice all the tanlines on my forearm
and former cuts and scrapes from football on my hands

if delleeo wants to listen, I tell him a tune
and forget that I should be off doing something new
the lights in the office are 9600 kelvin,
and my thoughts could retire on the air handing system

today is the the rest of the start of the end
and will be turning different july 27th
reminds me of wooten who in noticing rich
just failed as he quit and left Baltimore to switch
