Its slightly breezy outside,
a late December sunset,
just beginning, not even twilight.
sky is clear,
feeding the long shadows on the ground
in carosel movement in synch with the sun.

I can imagine a brick street
people below, and bustle,
but not cliche.

an urgent, yet distant desire
tempered by the finiteness of time.

shadows across my hands,
desk and stapler
licked by long rays and
falling shadows...

the orange fills and dominates,
blinds like a bomb
even with my eyes closed
do you ever remember...
our memories?

I found out,
and actually go
I'll have you know,
its you and me
Don't leave me here
I can't see by myself
Indifference is killing me.
